At Beacon Plus, we believe that every learner deserves a work placement that is both meaningful and rewarding. Our placements are designed to match individual strengths and career aspirations, providing real-world experience in supportive and inclusive environments. Through strong partnerships with local employers, many of our placements lead to paid employment, helping learners take confident steps toward their future careers. We are committed to empowering learners with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed.

We are thrilled to share that one of our amazing learners has secured full-time paid employment following their work placement!

This achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the incredible progress they’ve made during their time at Beacon Plus.

We couldn’t be prouder and wish them every success in this exciting new chapter!

Last week, one of our amazing learners helped host a Christmas Dinner for 19 guests at their work placement at Hub on the Beach. Not only did he make everyone feel welcome, but he also showed incredible flexibility by stepping in to run the café when things got busy.

Since joining Hub on the Beach, he has come on leaps and bounds, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything he’s achieved so far.

 

Gary, the manager at Hub on the Beach said that "He has been a massive help this year to all of us, he is hard working and will always do whatever is asked of him without any questions asked. He gets on really well with the team here and he is a pleasure to work with. When we had a visit from a care home recently I couldn’t fault him he was straight in there setting up the hall and was speaking to some of the clients as well, they thoroughly enjoyed their meal and their experience and he was a key part to that."
